they had my address listed as a fictitious address in their system. nothing bad appeared on their files as to why. they would not honor an order from me because someone who used to live at this address evidently did something bad!!! so boston proper is punishing me and losing out on a sale. no real reason why i can't order except there are issues with the mailing address....AND I WASN'T EVEN... I have ordered from Boston Proper a few times, and have mostly had to return the item. The quality shown in the catalog is far better than what i received. It seems that the merchandise is a knock off. Never will i order again!!!!!!!! Add comment

Boston Proper cancelled my order number 824510330. They waited a month to tell me it was out of stock. Now they email that it has been cancelled. This is the second issue I had with them. Last time I paid $10.00 for shipping and they sent it through the mail rather than FedEx and it got lost. Why did I pay for shipping? Additionally, they don't even send a nice email. I placed an order in time to have it the next weekend for a business trip. Come to find out the shipping time on my confirmation is not the shipping time they honor. So now I'm out of toe outfits & money to go out tonight and try to purchase something to wear. Very irritated! Add comment

2 out of my last 3 orders where shipped with the incorrect items (not even close to what I ordered) - then when I call they say the original item I ordered is no longer available - and the best they can offer me is a 10% discount on my next order!!! When I was married to my first wife, for 29 years, I frequently purchased from Boston Proper. As she used to say, their clothes were sexy, but also wearable, and the prices were excellent. I've been in the garment industry - both manufacturing and retail management (Nordstrom). There are several levels of "screwed up" at Boston Proper, the largest one being that the CLOTHES ARE NOT IN STOCK - even if you order within days of receiving a catalog. I ordered $400 worth of clothing including 2 pairs of shoes. The box arrived was so small there was no way the shoes could have fit. Both pairs were listed as shipped in this box. I feel like I placed an order with a Mexican company. The customer service person didnt apologize or offer to replace. He just said he was to take my word for it and credit my account. Very weird.
