I PURCHASED A PRODUCT IN OCT. 2021 RECEIVED EMAILS TELLING ME IT WAS IN BACK ORDER BUT TO REST ASSURE IT WOULD BE SHIPPED AT A LATER DATE , I RECEIVED (2) EMAILS W DIFFRENT DATES, FINALLY TODAY (MARCH 27) I CALL AFTER 6 MONTHS OF BEING LIED TO CONFIRM THE SHIPPING DATE AND AGAIN AM GIVEN THE DATE OF APRIL26 SIBNCE MY EXPERIERNCE WITH THIS CO.
IS SO UNRELIABLE I ASK TO SPEAK WITH MANAGEER SO HE CAN CONFIRM THE INFO TO WHICH I AM TOLD THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PRODUCT THEY HAVE STOPPED CARRYING THAT STYLE SINCE NEVER HAD IT IN STOCK .THIS CO.
DOES NOT VALUE OR RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY ARE VERY DISORGANIZED AND DECEITFUL

This company is dishonest, and consistent in false advertising
I am beyond furious.
Order was placed on August 30, 2021.
Even though all items showed to be in stock on line, I CALLED and ordered this over the phone so that I could make sure all items really WERE in stock. I asked the woman who was helping me FOUR times, and begged her to check, and she stated all items were IN STOCK and would ship out the next day which would have been August 31st. I then received a confirmation email, showing the 3 items I ordered.
However, they did NOT ship out on August 31st, as I got an email on September 1st stating FedEx was still awaiting the order. Not only that, the shipment showed that only TWO out of my THREE items were shipping!!
There was NO mention of any pre-order, or back ordered items on any email correspondence I had gotten previously, to advise me there was an issue with one of my items. I received NOTHING with any explanation whatsoever, especially after customer service confirmed FOUR times all items were in stock.
This is TYPICAL for the PATHETIC, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from Boston Proper.
Upon calling to inquire as to WHAT happened, and WHY my third item was left out of the shipping with absolutely NO mention as to what happened, I found out the item had been reserved for me, and for some reason, would not be shipping until September 13th!!!!!!!!! I ordered in PLENTY OF TIME TO GET MY ITEMS IN TIME FOR VACATION..even calling and verifying FOUR times that they were in stock!!!!! I leave on vacation on the 17th, so you better make real sure its overnighted to me with NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE..and even still, if this item doesnt fit me, it leaves me no time to do anything about it because of your horrible customer service.
Absolutely EVERY TIME, I have order issues with this company!!!! Not even three months ago I had issues!!!! A supervisor got in touch with me, called me, swearing up and down, promising that she was going to make EVERYTHING better, that she was new there, and thats what she got hired for, and was taking over everything and this sort of thing would not happen again!!!! And HERE WE ARE!!!!!

I have now filed THREE complaints with the Better Business Bureau against the company, and had intended on NEVER ordering from you all again, despite the fact that I was given a measly 10% off for the trouble Boston Proper caused me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
I will now be filing yet a FOURTH complaint with the Better Business Bureau. And this WILL be the LAST TIME I EVER ORDER from the despicable company again.
FURIOUS AND DISGUSTED-
- Cute clothes if they are really in stock or in inventory
- Bad quality

- Way they treat loyal customers

I placed an order that was suppose to arrive within 3 - 7 business days nothing has arrived and I found out the replacement items I ordered that were suppose to be delivered the next day never shipped and next day is a JOKE. Try to reach Customer Dis-Service is a joke. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS VENDOR.

I believe they need to have a better shipping package : use a box or carbon ... instead of plastic paper / someone tore a small hole in the plastic package , took out my pants ... stole my order basically!!!!!
Crap quality
I almost always never get to wear their items for long. It is terrible quality.
SUPER CUTE clothes but not at all worth the money. I hope I finally learned my lesson. I bought a sweater for 80.00 I wore it twice. I washed it by hand and it looks terrible.
I will not wear it because it looks all pilled and out of shape. Of course since i washed it they will not take it back.
How would I have known that it looks like this unless I washed it. Don't spend your hard-earned money on these clothes.

Excessive Return Fees
I recently ordered two dresses, and after receiving them was VERY disappointed in both the quality and fit. I returned them (separately), only to find that the MONETARY FEES charged to return an item are RIDICULOUS!!
The first item cost me $14.90 to realize that the quality was not worth the price, and I have yet to see how much the return of the second returned item will cost me.
I will NEVER order from them again. That is absolutely wrong to do to their clients, especially at times like these

I need address to return an item
My top was sent to the wrong address but I think it might be the fault of the ordering process. My correct address shows but under is an old address I sent a book to years ago. Tried to go to the people and get it, but they kept it.

I NEVER received my order and of course they charged my credit card! I called and emailed customer service very very rude tried to make me sound stupid.
They changed the tracking numbers from the original ones they gave me. They would NOT let me speak tp a supervisor!!
Avoid this company its a rip off!!!

No quality control. The tops I ordered a couple months ago are huge! Ordered different colors last year that fit perfect.
Sizing is no good. These 2 tops, blue &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; white would fit an elephant!

I have been a Boston Proper Customer for 20 yrs. The cut and style of their clothes seem to be made for my body type.
A couple of months ago I ordered 3 cami’s. They are great...... except the straps are about 3 or 4” too long! The front of these camisoles just hang on me!
These are size medium. I am 5’9” and weigh 150! Were these rejects? Someone’s mistake?
Shame on you Boston Proper for sending something like this out to your customers!
I will have to have these altered if I ever want to wear them. I think this company is slipping!
